The Widow or snakes-head Iris (Family Iridaceae, Genus Hermodactylus, species Hermodactilus tuberosus, grows on the borders of the lemon grove and Petra properties where the soil is moist and not disturbed by annual rotovation. Its unusual shape and colours are distinctive and it has been chosen as the logo and favourites icon for the Trigono-Lamda website

Welcome to trigonogroves.com, the website for the Trigono-Lamda Groves which are situated near Methoni on the Peloponnese in Greece.

During 2012 we'll be trying to do more with less, as will most people. It is not just a financial issues but also a time issue.

We're starting by streamlining the shop, which we feel has too many products. We'll concentrate on mugs, cards, notebooks, bags and fridge magnets, and will also carry other items in more popular designs and T shirts in the Logo Designs.

Spring work at the groves will consist of routine annual work at the Lamda, Delta and Trigono groves while we try to tackle the wilderness at Petra and continue to imporve the Lemon Grove.

We make contacts via the Travelpod blog, MySpace, Facebook and Linked-In.
