February already, and the days are beginning to lengthen, even though it is cold. During January, I have updated the Trigono Blog of A Warm Methoni December and also updated the business plan and other book-keeping.

During February updating will continue on the website and blogs of UK outings. You can now follow progress on Twitter.

Uppermost in my mind is the work required at Petra which remains wild and needs to be cleared around the perimeter where the farm track made in 2008 has become overgrown.

The Card and Gift Shop, run by CafePress, to ensure you get a complete, professional service, with online ordering, has been updated and we've created a new design called "Silhoutte".

Trigono-Lamda Olive Oil Production

Friends and family have welcomed the olive oil brought from the Lamda and Delta groves in December 2010. This olive oil can still be used. Olive oil oxidises slowly, eventually losing it's fresh colouration and aroma; however, the olive oil is still green at present, suitable as a salad dressing, a dip for fresh bread, cooking, and other uses.

No olive oil was brought to the UK during 2011, this being a low yield year.

Greek Patios is once again our most popular page, as no doubt people spend time indoors plannning for warmer days ahead. As People plan holidays, Our olive oil processing page will be visited less while those seeking information about Methoni, Foinikounda and Lambes, the closest beach to Foiniki, will hopefully benefit from this site and the Blogs, especially if using public transport across the Peloponnese.
